Aventura de<\/a> allows and stimulates kids’ critical thinking skills.  They use problem solving methods in order to obtain a goal throughout the game.  Their thought processes are challenged and pushed to achieve the end result.  Code Monkey is a fun game as well but I feel (and some research shows) that students learn better and accomplish more while they are having fun.

Los estudiantes que utilizan el pensamiento cr\u00edtico, la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas, el razonamiento, la l\u00f3gica, el pensamiento computacional y algor\u00edtmico tambi\u00e9n mejoran en el aula. I used Code Monkey Jr. with 5 of my Pre-K & 5 Kinder coding club<\/a> students and they initially struggled with what they should be doing.\u00a0 However, once I explained what the objective was and how to move, they took off on their own with some assistance from myself and my 5th grade assistant.\u00a0 Some of the Kinder students started helping the others when they got stuck.\u00a0 Introductions Code Monkey Jr to these 4-5 year olds definitely increased their problem solving and critical thinking skills.\u00a0 Essentially, it helped with social skills as well. The simple collaboration between them was amazing to see!

Tambi\u00e9n tengo un club Code Monkey regular que comenz\u00f3 hace tres a\u00f1os. Tengo alrededor de 5 estudiantes que comenzaron en 3er grado que han florecido en 5 sus habilidades de codificaci\u00f3n. Incluso han superado mi nivel como profesora. Les encanta la codificaci\u00f3n y sus habilidades como estudiantes se han beneficiado.

La codificaci\u00f3n es un gran beneficio para los estudiantes de todas las edades y tambi\u00e9n para los profesores. La mejor parte es que no es necesario tener experiencia alguna. Mis alumnos y yo comenzamos sin experiencia. Desde que comenc\u00e9 este club de codificaci\u00f3n, yo tambi\u00e9n me he sumergido en aprender codificaci\u00f3n para mejorar mis propias habilidades y beneficiar a mis estudiantes.

Varios estudiantes de matem\u00e1ticas con dificultades han venido a pedir cuentas para que tambi\u00e9n puedan aprender algo de codificaci\u00f3n<\/a> which is a great testament to how students are talking about a Code a Monkey and coding in general.  Again, coding is a great way for students to learn, strategize, collaborate, critical think, and build their skills that can help them in all contents.  These skills can be used cross-curricular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
